Alex is originally from Saint Paul, MN, last May he finished an Advertising Degree at University of Saint Thomas, and currently he's working for Village Light House and Modeling at the same time. When asked about how he felt upon winning the Model Star Chicago event, Alex shares, "It was really exciting, but I think I might have had an unfair advantage at the end because some of my friends were in attendance and they all have Mariah Carey-like lung power! :)" Alex is excited to go to NYC for the grand finale of the UnderGear and Instinct Mag Model Star Search on October 10, "I have been to NYC once before and that was also because I won a contest based on my physical appearance. My first trip to NYC came about because I was chosen as the Minnesota representative for Cosmopolitan magazine's 50 Hottest Bachelors competition. The difference between the two trips is that the model star contest is all expenses paid, whereas the Cosmo competition was not, which is a welcome change. Also, this time I'm only going to be competing against five other guys, instead of the 49 that were in Cosmo."
