His father taught him the basics of photography. Matthew would sit down in front of his dad, and listen to him as he explains the angles and techniques of capturing a subject. Later on, he focused on drawings and painting as well as photography. He would ask his friends to pose as his model. Xita Productions is NEXT. An exciting exclusive happening only at the newest modeling blogazine, Next Hottest Model.
Always Xita Productions. Always Next Hottest Model.
"My style in photography is more urban in the mix with fashion. I am going more further in the future, I couldn't stick with one style but so far I am going for high fashion with foreign models, mostly with crazed background in different locations - many areas to capture as well! I'm more into magazine shootings than fashion portraits"

"In the magazine and walking down the streets, male models inspire me even more than female models, don't get me wrong - females are more achieved more than male models in many ways and I usually see lot of variety in female's works. I just see many possiblities, with guys you don't. With those magazine ads, internet, etc. I see simplicity and plain with those foreign looks. I went "this is it, I like this challenge...! " I felt guys are not far-fetched as they are supposed to be. With my fashion taste, I gather out more inspirations with guys than girls, so I worked on that along with many ideas with my taste - that way I am more inspired!"
"Hmm, that I find myself dumbfonded when i am at work. I was working on one design for university and I was playing around with my camera same time, one of my worker came in the office "we got reaaalllll cute people out there, come out and take pic of them!" I took camera with me, talked with them for few minutes and took picture of them. When I completed within 5 minutes of fun shots. My worker was curious how it came out, we checked....er. I forgot to put memory card in it. I went "guys, stay here, we gotta to redo this one...!" Thankfully, they re not in hurry..."

" I'd look for any model that have the looks that can wear outfits which work with the appearance they got! I usually choose asians, they have looks that are flexible with any outfits I present. I took in foreign looks as well as that it do present the variety outfits, they mostly love to be photographed. If I desired to do something different, I'd look the models that can WORK the outfit and the look! It dont matter if you are well-known or so, I always look for model who love to work the look!"

"My advise for models and photographers, is that for you to have fun during the photoshoot be creative and realisitic, with lots of preparations when it comes to clothing and looks. If a photographer wants to have you photographed, discuss the vision or theme that both of you wants to achieve. Few models and photographers, I worked with do this, they would just improvise. It can come out well, but you have to ask yourself if this is what you really wanted? Is it your style or something you want to capture? Think of audience with your style and whether they can identify with your concept and theme. In addition, time is precious and use it wisely to achieve your goals"

"Ah! Xita Productions are the photography business that I am trying to accomplish while I am in college. It started when I want to be a professional fashion photographer, I enjoyed having clients as part of my portfolio. So, I set up the website for audience to view what I am working on so far. That way, people can understand what I accomplished, at the same time they can see the difference from the work of other photographers. That way, I tend to update it yearly since I usually have a hectic schedule with being university publication photographer, a student, and web designer for few clients through days. When I am done with college then, in the future, Xita Production will be many productions that include web design, publications, agency, photography and few other artworks that I project-ed myself on. It'd take time...to finish them all!"
"Well, my objective is for the models to look comfortable and pose naturally. I sometimes, starts a conversation with them before starting the photoshoot so they'd know what I am trying to achieve and also so that we can share our visions. During that time, I would just ask them to mimic my poses and expressions, gestures with them what they should pose better in their own way, and where to look when my camera is in different direction. But with makeup, I'd give them instructions with eyeliners because most of guys don't know how to use one. I enjoy helping guys to improve their looks on their own. Mostly, i'd draw on paper what I am doing on them, it help them to know what I am trying to capture our goal."

"I think its impossible for me to capture all of the elements in a single shot. I usually have a warm-up shots to see what works, what not and then I work more to capture what I wish to do so. With those elements I desire, that might be different..."
