"I’ve had plenty of ‘oops’ moments for sure. I’d say I’m generally a goofy character…definitely have to say the biggest oops was when I accidentally shaved off my eyebrow! It was horrifying! We’re given ‘oops’ moments to learn from and they make us who we are today. I just learned never try to trim my eyebrows haha!"

"I’ve been fortunate enough to have never had a bad experience with a photographer. With all the photographers I have previously worked with, I’ve developed great friendships with, and the best lesson that I have learned from them is to ‘just be you’. If you try to be something you’re not or try too hard, it shows."

"I was actually scouted by my agency on Model Mayhem. A friend of mine told me about the website and said I had to post pictures on it. I never thought of becoming a model as a career until I was asked in the mall when I was 15 if I was interested in modeling or have modeled before. That’s what really struck my interest and lead to my discovery."

For aspiring models, just go for it! What’s there to lose? Just be smart about it, give it a try and see if it’s right for you. Don’t get yourself stuck and do your research first! Honestly, people forget that modeling is not just posing, it’s a business, and if a client thinks your look can sell, you will get the job.

"Honestly, it’s frustrating. However, you can’t take it personally, it’s a business, and the client is looking for a certain look. Just because you’re not ‘right’ for that specific casting, doesn’t mean next year you aren’t either. It really is about what is right for the clothes."

"The little things, nice genuine gestures, make me smile. When someone does something for you that’s purely out of care and not forced."

Five things that David can't live without? "My family, photo albums, blackberry, moisturizer and music." What we will see if during a photoshoot, the model in him is unmasked?"Oh wow, what a question! I honestly try to be myself 100%, if I know there’s a theme or mood; I try to channel my emotions to fit the situation. You just have to look deep inside yourself and think of a moment when you experienced a memory similar to the shoot.". "My mom really inspires me. What she has sacrificed for my brother and me is way beyond anything I could fathom. She just wants me to be genuinely happy, and what more could anyone ask for? She’s my biggest fan and cheerleader, and is always there to pick me up when I’m down."
Always Exciting. Always NHM.
