"I deal with rejection in modeling the same way as I deal with it in life. I accept the rejection, and then I hold that memory in. Before there was this man in the gym that talked down to me....but now he's been calling and asking for help. His calls will continue to remain unanswered. I don't hold anger for rejection. I just return their feelings back to them one day. I think that is just fair. But other than that, I always move on with life and view rejection as a learning experience"

"My personal style? ... I don't know if I want everyone to know my secrets! Honestly, I dress very relaxed in private. I'm a college student. I like showing up to classes in my lounging clothes. If I'm looking to attract some girls.. that's different. I wear only slightly tattered dark jeans, a nice polo or undershirt, and rock it on top with a killer jacket or coat. I can't lie. I have a fetish for jackets, although I live in the dirty south where it's never really that cold. Also, I do love the chances to dress tight in a classical tux. Odd thing for you to know, the way I'm dressed actually alters my mood. I speak more concise when I'm dressed well. Perhaps that why Dr. Aaij preferred it if I would dress well for English class."

"To the guys wondering if they can do it. Try it out. Do it if you enjoy it. Never let it go  your head. You're more likely to work with sketchy photographers when your ego is elevated. On top of that, check references if you're not with an agency."

"To be nice: I laugh at the same experiences others laugh at. To be mean: I laugh at those whom had lost the concept of reality in their extreme level of materialism. I laugh at American politics. I laugh, and feel sad, for our judicial system. Finally, I laugh at those that believe their own ways are the superior ways without experiencing others ways."

So what makes Markus, well....Markus? "To start off, I'm a second generation German. I'm a southern neighbor to the Netherlands. I can be that connection from European to American." With his beautiful blend of genes, Markus stands out as a unique and totally gorgeous guy. So how did he start in modeling? "It came to me. I had been competing as a drug-free bodybuilding when I was contacted by RLS Images. The reason I still do it and enjoy it... one can display so much passion in such a readily available format. To the average person, a photo doesn't require very much interpretation. Passion is the only thing that's keeping me alive now!" Five things he can't live without? "Music, coffee, my blackberry, hope, and my introspection. I can keep myself content in silence." Markus is an inspiration to the youth and other models as he had proven that you can balance Modeling with Nursing, which is a very noble profession. With his strong passion for success, Markus will definitely shine through.
