What's your source of inspiration?
"Music is the best source of inspiration for me. During the NEXT NY Man photo shoot, Rob played some great music, and that had set the mood for the shoot"

What's the best thing about IQONIQ?
"IQONIQ impressed me with its bold designs. At the same time too, I was surprised that its actually very comfortable. I love the fit and the body conscious style, it actually enhances all the right attributes."

What can really make you laugh?
"Sometimes silly things, nothing too high brow. Laughter can be incredibly contagious. Some of the best memorable times of my life happened while sharing a good gut busting, eye tearing laugh with a friend."
Rob Buco Photography
What's sexy for you?
"Confidence, intelligence, a passion for what you do....kindness and a sense of humor"

"What's the part of NYC that you think resembles you the most?"
"New York is an amazing city! I think the thing about NYC that reminds me a little bit of myself is its diversity. I’ve always tried to keep an open mind about new and unfamiliar ideas and experiences. New York is also a resilient city, always overcoming adversity and ending up better for it. I see myself like that."

"How was your experience with the NEXT NY Man photo shoot?"
"It was a lot of fun, and surprisingly a lot tougher than I would have thought. This is my first modeling experience and hopefully not my last. Rob contacted me after seeing some of my photos on a networking site. And things just went on from there. Rob is very professional, he explained the process before we got started. Being a rookie, I was a little nervous, well more than little. But Rob put me right at ease. He kept things light during the photo shoot and gave me a lot of positive encouragement. Truly, working with Rob is a blast!"

What do you think photographers see in you?
"I think photographers see someone that had some life experience and is comfortable with himself. I can be a little reserved so I would like them to see my lighter, fun side."
Rob Buco Photography
What's the most funny moments during the NY Man photo shoot?
"There were many funny moments but one in particular where Rob had me wear a bandana with a baseball hat which was a little out of character for me. But I thought I’d have fun with it and gave him my best hip-hop pose. We both started laughing and Rob snapped a few shots, which we both really liked."

Advise or message for new models?
"Be realistic about your expectations, educate yourself about the industry and understand what you're getting into. If it's still what you really want to do, then go for it! Commit yourself to it. Be professional and respectful, but at the same time, be yourself."
Rob Buco Photography
How do you deal with rejections?
"I try to learn something from the experience. And I do, but I'm human too, sometimes rejections can be tough. But the important thing is to keep things in perspective and not let that experience affect how you think about yourself"

"The fact that I’m much older than most of the other models, can’t be overlooked. I give Rob a lot of credit for using, let’s say, a more mature guy in an industry that’s very youth focused. I like to think that I can show, in some small way, that we don’t all have to be 18 to feel good in our skin. I bring maturity and life experience that’s expressed in my images, a unique perspective that best represents the NEXT NY Man."
