"My heritage is Black, but after my brother Alex who is also the head designer for Zulu Rose did a family tree voyage, we found Brazilian, and Moroccan roots. How cool would it have been to get to grow up speaking three languages? I'm currently struggling with my Portuguese language CD's."

"Really, I have no idea. I'm that guy who goes "Huh? Me?" and inwardly laughs when someone wants to shoot me. I'd actually like to know what Photographers see in me. Don't we all wish we could be as cool as strangers think we are?"

"SHADOWBOXER CINEMA is my brother Chris and myself. We are students of martial arts, and used that discipline to stay focused in Hollywood with it's deadly and delicious distractions. We are a writer/director "Content creator" team. Our latest film is called F*CK YOU PAY ME! A sci-fi satire about debt collectors. In the future, collection agencies don't ask for their money politely. They are armed and looking for delinquent debtors. Don't have the money? F*CK YOU PAY ME! We just finished a romantic comedy and are currently in the 'deal shopping' mode. Another film on the site (www.shadowboxercinema.com) is called THE CHOP SHOP. A true story about the time I was dating a married woman. No, I didn't know she was married, and if you watch the film, you'll see what happened when I was visiting her and her husband came home! LOL!!! True story. I know, I shoulda been smarter. I'll never learn. ha ha...."

"No matter what anybody says, if you feel right about your choice, don't doubt the feeling, get out there, and take some crappy pics. Who cares if they suck?"

"I think that being in the trenches behind the camera gives you appreciation for achieving "The moment". Something crucial to modeling. But what do I know? I'm just having fun with this, maybe it will become something big. Also, I am extremely grateful when I book a job. It's not about me, it's about working as a team to achieve the photographer's vision."

"Five things I can't live without? My ipod. Right now I'm listening to a Down tempo Brazilian mix. And my new favorite song of the summer is SLY FOX by Nas. Twizzlers. I keep those guys in business.  Azora. My 7yr old niece. Soooo cute. She's going to be a fashion designer like her Father. She tells me "I can't let you go out of the house looking like that." My laptop. I'm a research geek. I'm envious of my brother Chris cause he can read a 500 page book, two magazines, and stays up on current events every week. I always try to stump him. Sometimes I research new things to research, ha ha.  My family. I was blessed with the kind of parents you can hang out with, and the kind of brothers who always have my back."

"I would love to say the best filmmaking experience was when my brother, Chris and I won back to back victories at the Arizona and Hollywood Black Film festival, but instead, I'd like to give props to one actor we worked with. Olympian Carl Lewis in the film F*CK YOU PAY ME! Carl's professionalism on the set was indicative of his track success. He was extremely humble, receptive to the vision of the project, and took direction well. A class act."

William grew up with speech impediments, as a kid, who's barely starting to discover and learn about life, this is one of a major growing up challenges. "You know how kids can be. The teasing was brutal. My uncle once told me "I don't want you hanging out with us (the big kids) cause you embarrass me." Subsequently, I fell into an introverts trance and avoided every chance to speak. I was five and my self esteem just got murdered. I'd lock myself in my room and write skits for characters and act them out in my head." By tapping on his creative side, William discovered his passion and natural talents.
"Years later, I fell in love with Hip Hop... I decided that if I could be a rapper, on stage and get respect for my lyrics, I'd beat my impediment. After wimping out at a dozens of open mic nights, I finally did it, and everything changed over night. It was as if I was born again. Communication. My greatest weakness became my weapon. Now I get what I want in life. Oh wow, we're getting off the topic here, I'm sorry, Ha ha ha. I like that the viewers have no idea what I'm thinking." When asked if he would like to share some oops moments, William replied, "I have oops moments every day, haha... I changed clothes at the last second before going on a first date recently. By the time I discovered that I left my wallet in my other jacket, it was too late. Major cool points - out the window. Ha haa!"

"I'm still trying to figure that one out. Seriously though, when you find out what you want your calling to be - then, that is your calling, it's time to get to work. They say it takes ten years working no less than three hours a day, seven days a week to be an expert at something. I guess there's still hope for me."

Always Exciting. Always NEXT.
