Back in high school, he came up with an idea of specifically growing his own cotton and exploring how it can be integrated and developed to create clothes that are not only comfortable and stylish but will also harness the full potentials of cotton. He took this project seriously, and this fueled his dreams to become a designer and create his own label. So how was his first runway experience? "Having my parents, family, friends and professionals in the industry in the audience during my first Runway made me realized that I'm on my way to become the next top designer through all their help and support. It's an amazing feeling. I think I can make a difference in today's world with my CottonBoy® touch." Back in 2002 at Abraham Lincoln High in LA, his classmates and other students starts calling him CottonBoy® because he was a young guy growing cotton. "Pretty soon the whole school starts calling me with that name, and it pretty much stuck to me. I decided back then that it would be my label name because its unique, original and me". After his fabulous high school years, Albert attended American Intercontinental University in LA where he graduated with B.F.A. in Fashion Marketing and Fashion Design. Today, CottonBoy® is one of the hottest labels around! Albert together with Joe was also invited as vip guest in this year's Mercedes Benz Fashion Show, which is just one of the different projects that's he's currently involved on to generate cooler excitement for his brand, CottonBoy®. Recently the label, was at E! Entertainment Live at the "White House Restaurant Charity Event Fashion Show" where CottonBoy® launched its 2009 collections. With CottonBoy®'s 100% natural materials, and eco-friendly line, you can definitely let the cotton wear you, not only naturally but fabulously!
