I know that if we can work together to portray that emotion and capture it in an image, we both can make some remarkable art."

"I meditate to bring myself to the center, then I get the shoot information as to what the goals are and then I focus on those feelings and emotions that needs to be portrayed. I think through this process, I can concentrate more during the shoot and help my photographer bring the elements needed to create the final shots."

"My most remarkable modeling experience was being awakened in the morning in uptown Los Angeles, CA by Sarah McLachlan's song Adia blaring through the streets. I called the front desk to see what the commotion was and they said "Sorry sir it is a film being made in the streets." I came down to investigate who and what it was. I was standing at the corner when I glanced across the street from me and sitting in a chair getting make-up was Sarah McLachlan herself. She waved to me and motioned for me to come over to her. The security guard tried to stop me but I pointed out to him that she requested my presence and he let me pass. I walked right up to her while she was getting her make-up and we talked a little while about each other and then her music and how it had inspired me in the past. She then requested to the staff that I be in her video."

"When I'm rejected I tell myself that it's alright, that everything happens for a reason and that soon I'll find the project that's for me. I think rejection is something that shouldn't bother us as it's part of this industry, however the important thing is that we learn from this experience and use this to fuel our success, as there's lots of opportunities out there!"

"I'd have to say that my favorite pastimes are in, on or around the water. I love kayaking, sailing, diving, camping, and swimming. The list could go on and on because I enjoy being outdoors and active. Some of my favorites: color - Cobalt Blue, food - Sushi, activity - Kayaking, comedian - Margaret Cho / Kathy Griffin (boy if I could have the three of us in a room at the same time I'd be hurting so hard from laughing, that would be fun!) sensation - laying on the beach feeling the sun and wind against your skin while listening to the waves crash gently against the shore."

Through his humor and knowledge I learned so much from him that I sincerely appreciate. I know that one thing in particular that I learned from Denny was about expressing emotions through the eyes." What inspires Barret? "My inspiration comes from two places. One is deep within me - I feel the love and fullness of positive energy. The second comes from smiles that I see when I look around, I can feel the joy behind them and I allow them to fuel me to accomplish my dreams."
