"My style? On a regular day, a basic tee, a pair of jeans, a fedora hat, sunglasses and my favorite snickers. I'm not really a "fashionista" so to speak. But whichever is required, I can dress up or dress down for the occassion."

"Best lesson I learned from photographers? Find yourself, express it and FIND YOUR LIGHT! One has to know himself and be confident about it to be able to express the right emotion. But most importantly, no matter how expressive you are if you don't know how to find your light, then all poses go to vain."
"For new models, be yourself, love yourself, prepare yourself and express yourself.
Prepare yourself by maximizing strengths and improving/minimizing on weaknesses (e.g. if you need to go to the gym, then go). When you're ready, gather all your strength and confidence and be ready to share who you are through a pose."

"Why Jaws? It's actually a nick which my aunt gave me when we watched a rerun of Jaws 2. My real name is Joel. But as a child growing up, I was fondly called Jaws 2 (yes, with a 2). Over the years, people close to me dropped the two and have been known by the name of Jaws ever since. I like it because it's catchy and unique."

"Photo shoot preparations? usually, a quick trip to the gym, rehydrate and moisturize. I also work closely with my photographers so that both of us know the goals of the shoot and both of us can work towards accomplishing those targets."

"Most memorable modeling experience? It happened during the time when I did the Runway for a cause. All the funds raised for the show from ticket sales and sponsors were given to patients in dire need of heart transplant surgery. And we sure did raise enough to help almost 10 patients to undergo their medical procedures. I think this is the fulfilling part of Modeling, to be in a position where you can inspire and move others to share and make a difference in our society"

"What can guarantee my smile at the end of the day? A quick run on the treadmill for a dose of endorphines and Starbucks Soy Latte with sugar free vanilla. If there's none, a glass of cold soya milk. I am lactose intolerant that's why I can't drink the regular milk"
"My family and loved ones inspires me. Even though I live very far away from them, I'm doing these for them as my success will also be theirs. They are my strong motivation and anchor to excel in this industry."
Jaws never really saw himself going into modeling, "My first love is acting. I have appeared in theater, film and TV series. I got invited to pose for a celebrity photographer and I thought and so did my friends, hey, I can be a model, too. And the rest is history." Jaws does not only loves his sugar free Latte, but he also love to spend quality time with his close friends, he lives a healthy lifestyle with regular workouts, and even though he rarely go out for full blast partying, when in his party mode, he's really the life of the party! His other faves? "I love Chicken Pork Adobo. It's chicken and pork cooked in soy sauce, garlic and onion. UMMM. Yummy! I am salivating right now! I love ice cream but I am lactose intolerant. I don't drink but I would love to get drunk! I love going to the beach but I don't get a tan... I get burned and shed off in 2 days easily." Jaws added that he went extreme with sky diving and he's totally hooked! Jaws invites everyone to experience the smile of Asia, "The Philippines is an archipelago composed of more than 7,107 islands. Apart from the beautiful works of nature and the impeccable sands of Boracay, the next best thing about the Philippines are the People. Filipinos are happy by nature through thick and thin... resilient like a bamboo.... warm and hospitable, truly the smile of Asia!
