"On a perfect weekend I'd want it all, of course! It had to be sunny and one day I would have to spend at the sea with my friends. Swimming, sunbathing, fruits by day. Red wine, fire and guitar in the late evening. The other day I'd like to relax and read a lot, than have a real huge success working and celebrating with some friends in a really cool bar. Somewhere in between I'd like to buy one piece of clothes to remind me of my perfect weekend."

"I think photographers see in me a character. Something Rutger Hauer-esk (Blade Runner). I would like them to see in me someone they'd love to work with, someone who'll help them bring life, motion and emotion into their picture and come close to fulfilling their personal vision of the perfect picture."

"Hard to say. I've never been that guy. I guess my advice would be to just be himself and move to a fashion city. There will be lots of model scouts looking for new talents. If they, with their eye and experience see something in him, there's no time to waste. If not, well then just focus on what you wanted to do whilst being yourself . No shame whatsoever in never having been a model."
"Best thing about Modeling? Coming together and work with unbelievably creative minds, have fascinating conversations with them, co-produce amazing results and maybe party together afterwards"

"The modeling scene in Germany still is comparatively conservative. Or, like some people might like to put it: "It's a money market". That means that quite some money is earned by doing commercial catalogue jobs in cities like Düsseldorf or Munich – not the kind of jobs I personally like to do. As for fancy editorial work Hamburg and Berlin are nice but still they are neither New York, nor Milan, Paris or London."

"I think the greatest challenge is accepting that success in the end isn't completely up to you. You can be in shape, always on time and focused and still eventually it's more important that one or the other person sees something in you in exactly this or that instant."
So how does Aren deals with rejections? "I try to focus on the next task/shooting/casting. I take it less and less personally." Five things he just can't live without? "Friends, Music, Literature, Sports and Sea." His most bizarre and challenging experience? "Spending three days on a sports tournament – hockey – without having played more than twice before with a total of 61 teams of real hockey players who were much more skillful of course – but played it rather nicely and by god who knew to drink and party. That, for once, was something new and different but I enjoyed it a lot." Aren also shares some thoughts about Hamburg, "Hamburg is quite liberal, I guess. Of course there's this rumour that people here tend to be cold and reserved but that doesn't meet my experience. Honestly, Hamburg is wonderful. Not too small, not too big. Lots of green and water- I love living here."

"For me being myself has been working quite nicely. A little sports here and there is never wrong but yourself is all you've got. Either people like what they see and get, or they don't. I don't think, there's too much you can do about that."
Always Exciting. Always NEXT.
