"I'm a bit of a chameleon; it all depends on the mood I'm in at the time. I wear what I want where I want. Some days I wake up and skinny jeans, a tee and cardigan will do the trick, Some days I feel like putting on a pair of killer boots, trousers and a smart shirt just to walk to the shops! The way I see it is: if you feel like wearing something, wear it. You'll feel as if you look good, and it can be such a high to feel you look great."
"On the spot rejection? I'd like to think that I take it on the chin. I'm not one to argue with the decision of someone who probably knows better about what they are looking for. Say you go to a casting and are turned down, there are two ways you could take it: you can bitch and moan, or you can think about ways in which you could improve yourself (Of course - a drink or two always helps)!"
"Get practical about it! It's one thing staring in the mirror, but unless you get active and do something about it, you'll never know! That said, WATCH OUT for the scam merchants who can and will take advantage of you! I fell into that trap and wish I'd known better. Never think you know the ins and outs of a situation, be wary, try and know everything about a situation that you can. Setting all that serious stuff aside: you have to believe in yourself. Listen to criticism, build on what you have, and keep that belief in yourself. If you falter, make sure you have people who can pick you up and set you right. That's so important, for everyone."

"Five things I can't live without? Music! Wherever I go I need music in my ears! - A companion, a friend or relative to share the best moments with. A bed to collapse into at the end of a long day, where I can order my thoughts and RELAX! - Italian foods; I'm a pasta / pizza kinda guy. not good for carbs but it all tastes sooo gooood! - YSL's 'Touche Eclat'! I have hereditary dark circles under the eyes and hadn't found anything that covered them up well enough on my budget, until Touche!"
"While I'm not a jazz-hands, stageschool child screaming 'I've been acting since I was two, it's my DREAM!!'... I don't feel any less passion for acting. It is, in many ways, a dream of mine, albeit a fairly recently developed one. I noticed that I had a natural talent in performance a few years ago, that I felt a real affinity to what I was doing whenever I was onstage. The buzz I get from making an audience feel something is incomparable. I love it. I guess it's that feeling that pushes me to perform."

"Having only recently decided to explore my oppotunities as a model, the only challenge I've had was the realization that the studio in which I had my first few photos taken was part of an off-shore company looking to scam people new to the industry. I paid a hideous amount of money for photos that came with no retouching, and heard nothing from the 'agent' at the studio. Getting my head around that was my first challenge, but it's taught me to be wary, which is no bad thing."

"With the company I keep, such awesome friends and crazy relatives, my whole life seems to be one big bizarre, hilarious mess! I love the people around me and they provide me with so many laughs I don't think I could pick any one thing out of the bunch. I try and laugh as much as possible, I don't need to worry about the lines just yet!"

"I'd like to be able to build a great rapport with any photographer I work with, so that we can both feel comfortable enough to bring out the best sides in each other. If we can understand each other as more than 'the person who takes the pictures' and 'the pretty face', I think it would make it far easier to get a great shot."
So how does Kirk reacts whenever he receives negative criticism? "We all know that we'll receive criticism, be it good or bad. What I try to remember is that in many cases, negative criticism is also constructive criticism. I learn from any mistakes I make. It would hardly be fair to accept any praise while ignoring my mistakes, after all." Kirk also shares some thoughts on Ipswich, Suffolk where he's currently based, "The town itself is where I was born and have grown up, so it will always feel like home. that's awesome enough, I think. While the town doesn't boast anything particularly amazing, Suffolk as a whole is a really great place to wander around; it's green, it's full of great places to get lost in, and full of history. I love it!" Random stuff on Kirk? "I'm colorblind! I can play the trumpet! I'm a tiny bit of a video-game nerd! My favorite band are 'The Dresden Dolls', from Boston. My favorite nut is the pistachio! My favorite book is 'The Handmaid's Tale', by Margaret Attwood. I value honesty above any other human trait. I'm more grateful than you know that you've read this far! Cheers!" What' an ideal weekend for Kirk? "I'm an easily pleased guy. Some weekends I'll chill with a bottle of wine and a good book, or some good music and company. Other weekends I'll go walking along some beach, getting myself lost - and found again! Or I'll meet friends for a night out and spend the rest of the weekend recovering! As long as I take away a memory or two, I'm happy."

"Definitely, without a doubt. It's not something that I will ever give up, even if I'm, say, working a 9 to 5 job in ten years time. I know that I need a career to support myself while I wait for my time to roll around. When it does, rest assured that I'll grab it with both hands!"
Always Exciting. Always NEXT.
