"When I was 17 I was working with a still good friend of mine, Laura. We were both from New Jersey and decided one weekend to take off work and see some of our old friends up there. Granted, we never saw mine. Ok, so we get there and mind you, Laura’s 22 at time. So I meet some of her old college friends and they are all so intimidating cause they are so much older than me, but I went with it. We got up to the apartment and we're hanging out, they started drinking, among other things and I just kinda sit there. I know, lol, it's a little bit awkward, but later that night we all decided to go to a restaurant and get some food, and just hang out. So, long story short Laura ends up completely drunk, I was under age at the time so I didn’t drink. We got back to the guy's house and Laura’s friend we met at the restaurant ( I forgot her name) she came with us. Once we're there, I noticed that there are so many older people (20-25) there drunk and belligerent! Laura ends up leaving with her friend and ditching me there with all these people I don’t know, or care to know. So I lock myself in the bathroom when the college kids decided to draw attention to me. So, while I was in the bathroom I couldn't help but overhear two of the guys arguing, long story short, one guy breaks a glass beer bottle over the others head. Blood everywhere, I was petrified. I still didn’t know any one, or where I was for that matter except for the fact that I was in NJ and I was the only sober one! I didn’t know what to do, I said I'll call an ambulance but because of the “other” stuff in the house the college kids took, and broke my cell phone. Now, I was completely stranded. Nothing really else happened that night except I slept in the tub in the locked bathroom. Laura got an ear full the next day. I know, lol..this is not only bizarre but totally those kind of situations you don't want to find yourself in!"

"I love acting, and getting into a different characters. So the shots that I love the most are the ones where I would have to do just that. Sean always gives me great direction, and tells where I can improve. Its awesome looking back at the shots and not totally recognizing your own personality, and seeing a totally different me. That’s part of the reason I love modeling in general."
"For that guy staring in the mirror and wondering whether he can be a model or not, I would say to him: “can you?" If you answer that question with anything but a yes, you're not going to make it. You have to believe in who you are, and to be a model you have to believe in what you look like. Without that, confident models will walk all over you. So, you shouldn't be asking yourself can I be a model? You should be telling your self you are a model!"

"I'm very casual. When I go out, you rarely see me in big names, or flashy clothes. I love bright blues and bright colors in general. When going out to dinner it is not surprising to see me in an American apparel V-neck, and a sexy pair of my favorite genes with my favorite pair of flip flops. Although, don't get me wrong. Hand me some Dolce jeans, and an Armani shirt and I'll rock it like no other. But names on clothes are not as important as what’s under them."

"Why Modeling? Simply because I love it, I would model if I only made 30K a year doing it. Modeling isn't about the money for me, its about the art, the love people have for pictures, fashion, and photography."

So what's the best thing about Maryland for Theodore? "SNOWBALLS!!! They are amazingly sweet, delicious, and did I mention amazing! It’s a summer time delight around my house, that’s for sure. Ok, so the best way to describe a snowball is crushed ice like in an Italian ice, topped with marsh mallow fluff, ice cream and your favorite snowball flavor. Almost like Ritas, but better in my opinion. I never heard of them 'till I was living here, and don’t know how I lived without." Theo also shared that he's the youngest of the three as well as the tallest! More random facts? "I can't live without at least one beach trip a year. I love driving. My favorite ice cream is coffee heath bar crunch! I eat mac n cheese (the blue box) almost daily. I want to be a chef some day. I love acting, and I like to think I can sing. (don’t we all?)" Bringing rSEANd Photography's concept to life is very challenging, so what's the best thing he learned from Sean? "I have learned a lot from working with him, but something that I think about now more so than before I met him was what my face actually looked like when taking a picture. Simply raising one eye brow can make or break a shot, depending on what you’re going for. So time and time again Sean reminded me to practice my facial poses in the mirror, and to actually think about what my face looks like before he takes a shot." When asked with another challenging question on why he should be the NEXT Man of the Year, Theo shares, "I am the NEXT Man of the year because I have the drive, determination, motivation and love for modeling the NEXT Man of the year should possess."

"I'm an androgynous male. There are not many Theodore Vamos’s out there. I have the look of an all American male, but I can also look very feminine, and edgy. In other words, I'm adaptable and changeable. My look is, in my opinion, unique, and I think it will carry me far through my modeling career, and give me that extra edge."
