Jacques at On Display Men

One look at Jacques, and you know that this hottie will really win your heart. Jacques Mitchell is only 28, he began his career at 18. the model search in Houston started it all. However, he put his modeling career on hold because he value education. “I wanted to do the right thing. I wanted to get my education.” Soon after finishing his studies, he moved to New York to focus on his modeling career.

For Jacques, "exercise, diet and nutrition are all important to me, maintaining a healthy lifetstyle is a priority not only because i am a model but because everybody should be health conscious, at the same time too being healthy is a great defense against stress." Jacques used to weigh around 230 pounds, during that time he was taking supplements while doing body building until he decided to have a more natural look, he ceased taking the supplements and he was able to achieved an amazing 180 pound toned body.

His work has appeared in many prominent publications, including Intimo and Modell’s. He was recently featured in a photo spread in AXL. Amidst his modeling success, he still finds time to appear on the soap opera All My Children, in a role as a bartender. “I’m a Jack of all trades. I model, act and bartend for catering events and Ralph Lauren parties. I enjoy helping others and touching people’s lives in any way that I can.” Jacques’ modeling talents run the gamut from fitness, commercial and fashion to underwear and swimwear. “I prefer commercial print, though,” he relates. “It’s just not as stressful; it’s really laid-back.” Soon, he will be heading to the UK for 2 weeks to continue his modeling and acting. With his hectic schedule, Jacques still manages to find time for fun. This very down-to-Earth and laidback man always makes time for his family and friends. “I like to relax with the people I care about – maybe fishing or having a glass of red wine. I love life.” Jacques will be gracing the cover of Men’s Exercise in January or February of 2008.
